Set in a futuristic dystopia, The Hunger Games is one of the most highly anticipated movies this year. The film is making its first Canadian premiere here in Toronto tonight at the Scotiabank theatre. Fans will be able to catch a glimpse of stars Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson and Alexander Ludwig, who are set to walk the red carpet and Tribute will be there to film it all for fans who can’t be onhand to witness the event. The Hunger Games, about children forced to brutally murder each other on a nationally televised broadcast until only one is left alive, has already sold out more than 1,000 showtimes in advance ticket sales. The film officially opens this Friday with screenings beginning at 12:01 a.m. in some theaters. ~Kayla Thompson
