The Princess and the Frog is now available on Blu-ray and DVD in a variety of different releases, but if you want to keep your kids happy and occupied for hours, the best bet seems to be the 3-Disc Combo pack, which offers tons of special bonus features, including deleted scenes, games and a behind-the-scenes look at the animation process. The movie itself tells the story of a beautiful girl named Tiana, a frog prince who desperately wants to be human again, and a fateful kiss that leads them both on a hilarious adventure through the mystical bayous of Louisiana. Starring Broadway/movie actress Anika Noni Rose as the voice of Tiana, the movie was nominated for Academy Awards in two categories—Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song).
Tribute’s Bonnie Laufer spoke with Anika and the film’s directors, Ron Clements and John Musker, in New York about this highly anticipated Blu-ray/DVD release.
