One of the most talked about films of 2010 is now available on DVD and Blu-ray. The Social Network starring Jesse Eisenberg as Mark Zuckerberg, the creator of Facebook, has already made more than $200 million at the box office. The film, which is already garnering major nominations, awards and critical praise across the globe, is sure to be an Oscar contender. Directed by David Fincher and written by the brilliant Aaron Sorkin, the film follows Zuckerberg, a geeky Harvard student who in 2004 started Facebook in his dorm room, launching a social media phenomenon and making himself America’s youngest billionaire. Zuckerberg’s zeal also sparked two lawsuits from former friends and business associates, who claimed he used, conned and defrauded them. To date Facebook has over 500 million users… are YOU one of them?

Tribute’s Bonnie Laufer spoke to the film’s star Jesse Eisenberg about the release of the DVD, his chance for Oscar gold, what his younger sister actress Hallie Kate is up to these days, and the phenomenal success the film has had since its release just three short months ago.
