The movie maintains its high 4 out of 5 star rating on Tribute.ca. In its third weekend in theaters, Sam Mendes’ Skyfall held on to second place, taking in an additional $36 million. Starring Daniel Craig as the sleek 007 agent, Skyfall gets a 4 star rating and its $222 million total gross makes Bond 23 the first of the franchise to earn over $200 million. Steven Spielberg’s Lincoln starring Daniel Day-Lewis took third place with a comfortable $25 million and a 4.5 user rating. Paramount’s animated holiday flick Rise of the Guardians debuted in fourth, pulling in $24 million. Featuring celeb voices like Alec Baldwin, Jude Law and many more, this CG adventure receives an impressive 4.5 star rating. Rounding out the top five was Ang Lee’s $120 million film adaptation of Yann Martel’s spiritual adventure novel Life of Pi. I used to hate Kristen but than I googled her … umm…. performance in “On the Road”. Her double handjob scene was AVN Award worthy.

I would like to see Lincoln and Life of Pie. I could care less about Twilight. The purchasing power of teenagers is incredible.

I hear ya, C-Dub! At least Potter and Twilight are done (momentarily, anyway) but there’s always another crap franchise to fill the void. 🙁

Maybe they could do a Potter/Twilight mash-up like Alien VS Predator… or better still ‘Potter VS Alien’ and ‘Twilight VS Predator’.

Those are some awesome ideas, NI — do you think you could work in a “Step Up” storyline as well?

I could phase-in the Step Up storyline into this mash-up; unfortunately, my scripts running awfully short.

Everybody from the twilight/potter franchise dies screaming within 5 minutes.
