Tim Robbins, Susan Sarandon split

Tim Robbins & Susan Sarandon in 2008One of Hollywood’s longest lasting relationships has come to an end. A rep for Tim Robbins, 51, and Susan Sarandon, 63, announced that after 23 years together, they “separated over the summer,” adding, ”No further comments will be made.” The couple, who met when they starred in Bull Durham together, never married. They have two sons together, Jack, 20, and Miles, 17. According to People, Sarandon once said, “I won’t marry because I am too afraid of taking him for granted or him taking me for granted – maybe it will be a good excuse for a party when I am 80.” Sarandon, née Susan Tomalin, was married to Chris Sarandon from 1967 to 1979. They had no children together, although Sarandon has a 24-year-old daughter, Eva Amurri, from a relationship with director Franco Amurri. Robbins has never been married. ~Alexandra Heilbron
