Tom and Katie leading separate lives?

Tom Cruise & Katie HolmesSince Katie Holmes has been in New York prepping for her Broadway turn, she has rarely been seen out in public with husband Tom Cruise. Since becoming a couple in 2005, Holmes and Cruise have been attached at the hip, but recently, Cruise has only been seen a small number of times in New York City, leading to speculation their marriage might be in trouble. Reportedly, while Katie has been hitting the playground with two-year-old daughter Suri, Tom has been 3,000 miles away in California with his Scientology friends.

Well, if this is true, at least little Suri is safe and sound with mommy and not off in California being brainwashed by daddy and his “friends”!! 😀

I’ve said it before and I say it again. Tom is a loony-toon. It’s for everyone’s best interest that he keeps away from Katie (not her biggest fan either) and their love child.

    You said it, Bubbles!

Right, Katie hitting the playground alone with Suri is reason to speculate their marriage is in trouble….right. I can see it now, headlines…
“Tom and Katie Call it Splits,
Katie cites reason for divorce she can no longer push Suri on the swing singlehanded anymore, her hand is numb without Tom’s assistance”….

Hilarious but oh so true, Jo. It seems that many reporters, on line and elsewhere, thrive on embellishing every tiny detail that may lead — with a whole lot of wildly speculative imagination — to bad news for certain celebrities. A happy family, with parents who happen to need to work apart now and again, just isn’t as gratifying as a famous marriage on the rocks.

Tom Cruise is a nutcase. Scientology doesn’t exactly get a passing review by most people yet most people do not understand how incredibly dangerous it really is. People are brainwashed into believing that they must turn over everything of material value they possess to be “cleared”. Terribly sad is that this group of psychotic, mind control game players, has big named artists such as Mr. Tomcat giving ever so public endorsements of the “good” of Scientology. I feel for Katie whom I might not admire as much as other actresses but for the fact that she lives under the weight of Tom’s undeniable control at every whim. The best thing she could do for herself is to put as much distance between herself and Tom and to gain custody of their child before she falls victim to Scientology at the hands of her wacko father.

I believe “most” people don’t FULLY understand the workings of Scientology, partly due to the fact that this group of people don’t openly disclose all the workings of their “faith” – much is left disturbingly in this closet where they profess a chosen few have the key to, again for what I view as disturbing and unsatisfactory reasons.

I find the whole idea of Scientology cult-like and non appealing. I believe whatever faith you follow, your life can be “guided” by your beliefs, you shouldn’t be handing over your entire life to your faith or, rather, those that dictate the faith to you.

Katie needs to sort out what SHE wants from life, not what Tom wants her to be. A bit too much of a puppet on a string thing, possibly.
