Almost a year after the film was released in theaters, Jack Reacher may be getting a sequel. Tom Cruise, who stars as the title character, is looking to make a second movie from Lee Child’s thrilling book series with Paramount Pictures and Skydance Productions. The second film is to be based on the newest novel in the 18-part series, titled Never Go Back. As of right now, they are looking for writers to pen the script as the writer and director of the first film, Christopher McQuarrie, is busy working on Mission: Impossible 5. Never Let Go follows Jack right after he heads back to his military base to meet a woman, who is now a commanding officer, for dinner. When he arrives, she has been arrested and Jack is charged with murder and finds out he may be the father of a woman’s child. Unable to remember either event happening, Jack uses his quick wit and daring physicality to get to the bottom of the issues. ~Brie Davis
