Tom Cruise ‘serious’ new girlfriend leaves no time for Suri

Tom Cruise, 54, pictured at left at the Jack Reacher: Never Go Back London premiere on Oct. 20, has apparently been romancing a new woman in his life and it looks like they’re getting serious, according to Us Weekly.

The woman, who is British, has not been named, but according to the magazine, they’ve been dating for several months and she stayed with him at his rented cottage while he was filming The Mummy in London last summer. A source described the woman as “very normal and pretty.”

The same source told the mag: “They go on bike rides through the countryside. Sometimes Tom’s sister would join them.” This is Tom’s first serious relationship since his marriage to Katie Holmes ended four years ago. The sourced added, “…[he] wants to make it work.”

The magazine also alleges that Suri, pictured here in Manhattan on Aug. 8, has “quietly” been to Britain several times to visit her father and has been included on the bike rides with the new woman. However, GossipCop.com, a site that looks into gossip to determine whether it’s truthful, says the reports are not true. It reports that Tom has not been in contact with Suri for years and that a rep for his ex-wife Katie Holmes, who is of course Suri’s mom, told them: “The story is false.”

Suri, who was once photographed almost on a daily basis by paparazzi, has not often been seen in public in the last few years, likely thanks to her mom, who wants the little girl to have a little more privacy despite her famous parents.
