Tom Cruise tops Forbes list of highest paid actors

The Forbes list of highest-paid actors is out and Tom Cruise‘s name appears at the top of the chart with $75 million in earnings this past year. This is not the first time the Top Gun actor finds himself a top-earner and considering his success with Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol and Rock of Ages, this announcement is no surprise. Last year’s top earner, Leonardo DiCaprio, comes in second place this year with $37 million. The Inception star tied with infamous comedy-man Adam Sandler. Other stars appearing on the list include Dwayne Johnson, Ben Stiller, Sacha Baron Cohen, and Johnny Depp, in that order. The full list of highest paid actors can be found on the Forbes website. Once again, the male actors had a much higher overall earning margin than their female counterparts, with only the top two actresses (Kristen Stewart and Cameron Diaz) earning enough to equal any of the men on the actors’ top paid list. ~Stacy Raivich
