Tracy MorganTracy Morgan made a surprise appearance at the Emmy Awards last night.

The 30 Rock actor – who suffered a traumatic brain injury and broken leg in a car crash last year – received a standing ovation from the entire audience when he stepped on stage to present the Outstanding Drama Series prize at Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater and admitted he was thankful to be back.

Tracy – who wed partner Megan Wollover last month – said: ”I miss you guys so much. Jimmy Kimmel said on this stage that we’ll see you back here next year Tracy Morgan. Well, thanks to my amazing doctors and the support of my family and my beautiful new wife, I’m here standing on my own two feet. It’s been a long road back, I suffered a traumatic brain injury that put me in a coma for eight days … [when I woke up] I was just ecstatic to learn I wasn’t the one who messed up.”

And the father-of-four joked that, as he is feeling himself again, the women at the Emmys afterparties needed to be careful.

He quipped: ”Only recently have I started to feel like myself again. Which means a whole lot of women are going to get pregnant at the after party.”
