True Grit star snubbed by Glee actress

True Grit star Hailee Steinfeld, 14, is winning accolades for her work in the critically acclaimed movie. However, she says before she became famous, she was snubbed by a TV actress. She told J-14 magazine: “When I was auditioning for True Grit, I was on the Paramount lot. I was wearing clothes from the 1800s that were big and uncomfortable. Glee also films on the lot and I love that show. I saw Lea Michele just walking to her trailer, and I was like, ‘That’s the girl from Glee. I’ve got to go ask for her autograph!’ So I walked up to her and asked for her autograph, but she walked by and a guy came and said, ‘Sorry, now’s not a good time!’ I was so sad! I was practically crying on the way home,” Hailee admitted. The  encounter hasn’t fazed her, as she added, “But she’s beautiful, and she has an amazing voice.” Lea seems to be getting a reputation as a diva. Last year she had to apologize after reportedly yelling at a photographer at a gala.”Lea acts like she’s better than the rest of the cast,” a Glee insider told Us Magazine. “But the thing is, she legitimately is.” Another source who works on the Glee set said: “She’s sweet, but she has her moments.” Meanwhile, Hailee has received a SAG nomination for her work in True Grit and she’s a favorite for an Academy Award nomination.

What’s funny is that Hailee is a much better actress and is on her way to being a much bigger star. Hopefully she’ll remember how that felt and will not ever be rude to any of her fans.
