TV’s Wonder Woman finds body in river

Lynda CarterLynda Carter, 56, star of the TV series Wonder Woman, which ran from 1975 to 1979, was canoeing alone last Wednesday on the Potomac River in Washington when she spotted a body. She did not have a cell phone with her, so asked nearby fisherman to call police. Carter then waited for the authorities to arrive, and directed them to the body of Helen Johnstone, 47. Investigators believe the woman may have been out hiking when she slipped and fell into the river. Carter told the Washington Post: “I didn’t do anything special. I did what anybody would have done.”

What’s so exciting about this news?

Excitement is not necessary a pre-requisite for the news. It just has to be “new” and not “old”. I hope I have cleared that up for ya, so now you can focus on more pressing issues….

… and she’s still as beautiful as ever, although the costume might be a little tight on her.

What a story!!! She probably murdered the woman, and covered it up with some lies… oh, I didn’t have my cell phone… blah blah blah!!!

And with all the psychos out there in this day and age, they just told them that she canoes alone on the Potomac River in Washington and does not carry her cell phone with her! Nice! REAL smart!!

Yeah seriously eh? Get some common sense…

But, seriously though, I don’t know why she just couldn’t use her super-powers and save the woman!! Just pick her up out of the water and fly her straight to the hospital, how hard is that? Too much to ask I guess! 😐

Rather odd that she is boating by herself, at night, with no phone. Is this a usual habit? Hope she had no involvement with the “accident”.

It wasn’t at night. It happened during the day. And I don’t see what’s weird about her canoeing alone. People jog alone.

Yeah but wouldn’t you bring a phone with you either way….even if you were jogging ..what if you triped and fell and hurt yourself and no one was around to help…wouldn’t it be easy to grab your phone and call someone or would you rather wait for someone to come around while your in pain or dying like in this wonder woman situation…I wonder… woman did you lose some brain cells?

Sometimes people like to be off by themselves, and don’t want a phone ringing or anything, so they leave them home. I know lots of people who take off for a weekend at the cottage or wherever, and have no phone with them. That’s not so unusual.
