Twilight engagement ring for sale

Bella's engagement ringTwilight author Stephenie Meyer has teamed up with Infinite Jewelry Co. to create an exact replica of the engagement ring given to Bella by Edward in the Twilight Saga movies. The ring can be seen briefly in the new Eclipse trailer. It was co-designed by Meyer to match the description given in the book, which reads: “The face was a long oval, set with slanting rows of glittering round stones. The band was gold – delicate and narrow. The gold made a fragile web around the diamonds.” The ring, named “Bella’s Genuine Engagement Ring,” boasts 13 diamonds and comes in 14K yellow or white gold. It also comes with a professional appraisal and retails $1,979. Two less pricey versions are also available – Bella’s Fine Engagement Ring for $479.00 and Bella’s Fashion Engagement Ring for $35. Unfortunately, Robert Pattinson is not included in the purchase. ~Alexandra Heilbron

I don’t really like it. It’s too big. I like solitaires, they’re always classy.

So a guy is going to go to a jewelery store, ask for “Bella’s Engagement Ring” and if the clerk knows what he’s talking about and doesn’t look at him like he is crazy, will ask “Do you want Bella’s Genuine, Bella’s Fine, or Bella’s Fashion ring?” And the future groom will respond, “I will get the $35 engagement ring, because my future fiance means so much to me.”

Almost sounds like it should be sold in front of the 20-minute wedding chapels in Las Vegas.

Or is this meant to be bought by teenage girls who want to believe they are marrying a fictional vampire?

I think the $35 one is for teens/fans who want to feel like/pretend/dream they’re Bella. The same ones who buy all the products (t-shirts, keychains, etc). Not sure what the $479 version is for, maybe for parents who want to give their Twilight-obsessed kid a special present. I’ve read that guys are actually buying the one with real diamonds for their fiancees. Which is sweet, if they’re into Twilight that much.

I think a lot of smaller diamonds makes a ring look a little cheap. I’d much rather have a larger solitaire. I think they are classier.

Looks clungky, chunky, clumsy and alot like a bugs eye. Sorry, just my opinion.

I love it! In fact, I’ve already ordered one just like that for my Finance.

I think it’s a beautiful ring, and I might just buy the cheaper version. I am not buying it because of ‘Twilight’, but I will buy it for my taste and liking alone. 😀 It’s so perdy!

You guys realize Edward didn’t buy this? It was his mothers ring, Edwards father gave it to her. He mentions that he has inherited a number of baubles and given some to Alice and Esme. He even asks Bella if she’d prefer something from Tiffany’s. So it is out of date fashion-wise, but Bella says she likes old fashion so it suits her perfectly.

Also, it’s a pretty ring and I am gonna start dropping hints to my boyfriend.

Give me a break, this is a repeat of Princess Diana, how they wanted to remake (and did) her beautiful ring. Monkey see monkey do I guess
