Twilight hunk getting divorce

Following an 11-year marriage, 90210 star Jennie Garth, 39, and Twilight‘s Peter Facinelli, 38, have split. They have three young daughters together — Luca, 14, Lola, nine, and Fiona, five. Jennie and Peter met while playing lovers in the 1996 TV movie An Unfinished Affair, and were married in 2001. Although they haven’t filed for divorce yet, they released a joint statement saying, “While we have decided to end our marriage, we both share the same deep love and devotion to our children. We remain dedicated to raising our beautiful daughters together.” Facinelli plays Carlisle Cullen in The Twilight Saga series of movies, while Garth has a new CMT reality show called Jennie Garth: A Little Bit Country, that shows her moving away from Hollywood.

That’s too bad. They were one good looking couple

I don’t know how people can be together for so long and then call it quits, especially when they have such small children. Divorce is incredibly harmful to children’s sense of security.

    This shouldn’t be newsworthy.

You can tell which of the two is having a better career at the moment based on the headline. All bets say that he has a younger/faster model with 6 months.

I don’t see the point of marriage anymore if most of them end in divorce.

Very sad….especially since there are children involved.

Wow. Thats really sad. They have young children and its not fair for them at all. Best of luck to them

David…don’t start false rumours about Peter having a love affair with a model. Don’t forget that his kids are also able to read the stuff printed on the internet. And its very offensive to them to hear these types of false rumours about their parents.

I really feel sorry for this family for they did look like a loving, happy family. But whatever they decided is best for themselves and their kids, I hope them all the best.

Let’s just hope that Luca, Lola, and Fiona have lots of support during this hard time. Divorce isnt an easy thing to go through, especially for the kids. My prayers are definatly with them.

Since when was he a hunk? if he wasn’t in twilight no one would look twice at him. And I read an article in cosmo a while ago with him in it and it was about secrets to a “happy” marriage. Clearly it’s all been an act for quite some time

Some of you are morons, it’s not fair to the children? So you think it’s more fair for the children to live in a family where the parents hate each other and are constantly misrable just so the kids will be happy. Guess what morons, kids aren’t stupid they pick up on that and then they all become misrable. We don’t know the whole story, the divorce just might be the best thing for all of them.
