Twilight star bitten by raccoon

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel’s Total Eclipse Of The Heart this week, Austrian actor Xavier Samuel, who plays newborn vampire Riley in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, revealed he was bitten by a raccoon during filming in Vancouver. Kimmel showed a photo of a raccoon rushing at Samuel, and jokingly asked if TMZ had been there to capture the moment. It turns out castmate Bryce Dallas Howard caught the action on film. Howard, who plays Victoria in the film, said, “We went to Stanley Park. I was taking pictures and there were raccoons there. Xavier was like, ‘Ooh, I want a picture with the racoon’ so he sat down and I was taking pictures and then all of a sudden this racoon launched on him and totally bit him!” Samuel interrupted, “While she was happily snapping away!” He insisted the raccoon “didn’t draw blood,” but Howard contradicted him, saying: “It did! I was urging him to go to the hospital but he was all Aussie about it!”

When does this kid turn into a raccoon? Would his powers include raiding garbage cans and infecting others with rabies, will hollywood try to make it a torn love interest between the racoons and the stray cats? Who will he choose? The racoon or the alley cat?
Twilight’s already garbage, so raiding garbage cans shouldn’t be much a departure for the bitten actor.
