Cast members from the first two Twilight movies are gearing up to play baseball against members of the NFL’s New Orleans Saints, with the proceeds going to the American Red Cross and Hope for Haiti Now. The exhibition game will take place in New Orleans on March 20, as part of an event that includes autograph signings, photo-ops, meet-and-greets and an after-party concert. Peter Facinelli, who plays Carlisle Cullen in the Twilight movies, will head the team. So far, his team includes Twilight wolf pack members Chaske Spencer (Sam Uley), Alex Meraz (Paul) and Tyson Houseman (Quil). Hopefully Kellan Lutz and Jackson Rathbone, who play his sons, Emmet and Jasper Cullen, will join up, as well as Taylor Lautner, who plays Jacob Black. As for British-born Robert Pattinson, who learned to play the game for the first movie, hopefully he’ll show up in some capacity, even though he admits he’s not athletically inclined. ~Alexandra Heilbron

Christopher Nolan’s Tenet is incredibly fresh, original and, at times, complex, but promises to take you on a wild, wild ride. Click to read our review.
wow thats great Im glad that the cast is teaming up to do something like this for the ppl of haiti ill be watching out for it for sure
Good. 🙂 Well done. 8)
lol, not athletically inclined thats funny
uuummm not until March 20??? way to help out ASAP. what if it’s not raining and thundering how will they play then. the only thing I can look forward to seeing is if one of the Saints steamroll these twilight douchs over
With Loave M.P. Hi Nancy!!!!!!!!!!
if the twilight stars really wanted to help out,
why dont they just donate money? theyve always
got to be flauting themselves around. and in this
time of crisis, why would people need to be giving
autographs? shouldn’t the main reason be giving aid
to Haiti……?
^ because it’s hollywood and it’s all about fame, money, recognition, etc etc etc.
It’s sad and rather pathetic. Kudos to the stars who are helping NOW and not doing it with autographs in tow.
Because the baseball scene in the movie wasnt enough entertainment….
I would soooo go watch if I lived in New Orleans.
cooolioozz =)
gooodd joobb twilight casts
you jsut made me love you guys so much more 😉
<3
To those who call it pathetic, etc, and say they should do something else, at least they are doing SOMETHING, and I’ll bet it will generate a lot of money. I think this is a very unique idea.
I agree, Tributegirl and although some say it would be easier just to give the money, this is how you get the public involved in donating as well. It makes some people feel like they are getting something for their money and yet, it’s for a great cause.
I agree with you both, anything to help,is better than doing nothing at all!
Jessica, something like this is not too late in coming..the ‘rebuilding’ of Haiti will be a long, long road.
