Ghost Rider: The Spirit of Vengeance co-director Brian Taylor may have his next project lined up. Deadline is reporting that he has signed on to direct an adaptation of the popular video game series Twisted Metal. The story will revolve around underground events combining a mixture of monster trucks and street fighting, and will include characters like Sweet Tooth, a homicidal clown, and Doll Face, the young driver of an 18-wheeler who’s trapped behind a mask. The film, which has also brought Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance producers Avi and Ari Arad on board, is the first solo directing effort by Taylor. He’s previously teamed up with Mark Neveldine on projects like the popular Crank series. Stay tuned for more! ~Rodrigo Cokting
