Uma Thurman has been cast in a movie adaptation of the popular “Eloise” book series. She’ll play Nanny, the precocious little girl’s caretaker in Eloise in Paris. Filming begins in June and will take place in London, Paris and New York. If the movie does well, a sequel entitled Eloise in Hollywood will be in the works. The role of six-year-old Eloise has not yet been cast. Two Emmy award-winning “Eloise” movies were filmed in 2003 for television starring Julie Andrews as Nanny: Eloise at the Plaza and Eloise at Christmastime.
