Carrie UnderwoodCarrie Underwood and Tonight Show band leader Kevin Eubanks have been named the world’s sexiest vegetarians by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). Runners up include Joaquin Phoenix, Milo Ventimiglia, Kristen Bell, Bryce Dallas Howard and Jared Leto. This was the second year in a row that Underwood has captured the title. She’s been a vegetarian since she was 13, and admits, “I don’t like to watch commercials where they have meat. It weirds me out.”

Ya but she’s hot as hell(and a good singer), so whoever made fun of her when she was young is prolly kicking themselves.

honestly…..none of those people are that good looking. i’d say thats a pretty sad turnout for vegetarians. you can’t know who won the sexiest meat-eater award when all the sexy people in the world are meat eaters.

I agree that Carrie Underwood is one of the best singers out there. In fact I may do a cover of one of her songs on my demo cd. I am glad that she is living her dream. It is great that she is a vegetarian and supports PETA but the rest of us who eat meat can’t be bad can we? Our family doesn’t eat veal or lamb cause we don’t believe in it but we still believe in the ethical treatment of animals. I think that the vegetarians should let us believe what we believe we are not bad cause we eat meat. I believe that you can still want animals to be treated fairly and still eat meat. Animals were put on this earth for a purpose and we would never eat animals who were being hurt and abused.

Freak Show?? How do you figure she’s a freak show? You attack her just because she chooses a healthy lifestyle – thats quite childish. And yes it was likely that she was assaulted physically and verbally many times for choosing not to eat flesh, but what does that say about flesh eaters? Tribute.ca runs an article on a vegetarian and suddenly vegetarians are supposedly intruding on your beliefs? No it just means tribute.ca is doing their job and reporting what is happening in celebrity news. For obtaining ‘ethical’ flesh, the only way that can be done is if you raise an animal yourself, treat it as you yourself like to be treated, and let it die from old age, then desecrate its body. Thats just the reality. And as for not supporting the veal industry, what do you think buying milk does? It subsidises that very practice. Sexiet meat eater? let me think…michael moore and rosie o’donnel? ‘Honestly’? You are only saying theyre unnaturactive just because they dont consume flesh. Anyway, keep up the hate posts!
