Universal denies dropping Kristen Stewart from Snow White sequel

It appears that Kristen Stewart may get a chance to reprise her Snow White role after all. Universal Pictures has denied reports stating that the actress was dropped from the sequel following the news of her scandalous affair with Snow White & the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders. On Tuesday, The Hollywood Reporter cited anonymous sources claiming Universal dropped Stewart from the next film in the franchise. However, Universal Pictures co-chairman Donna Langley denied these claims. “We are extremely proud of Snow White & the Huntsman and we’re currently exploring all options to continue the franchise,” she said in a statement. “Any reports that Kristen Stewart has been dropped are false.”
While Universal has been planning a sequel to the film, the studio is now also particularly interested in a spinoff of Chris Hemsworth’s Huntsman character. But whether the film will be a sequel or a spinoff, the studio will not be casting a new Snow White. ~Isabelle Khoo

I’m getting fed up with all the blame on kristen what about the married asshole who cheated on his wife. As far as this story goes it’s been overblown she never was replaced nor was she dropped. It’s just fictitious crap! Lets all get on with our own lives and start worrying about important matters.

Seriuosly Mary is right! We don’t know the whole story as well. You might know this but Robert doesn’t shower like Lenny Kravitz and that director dudes wife is one ugly dog with 3 kids that apparently doesn’t give him enough attention. There are issues behind the real reason why these two people hooked up and wanted affection from each other. Was it right? Of course not but neither is it our business these things happen everyday because of poor marriage communication and lack of sex and lack of affection etc etc. So let’s stop blaming two people for (in hollywoods eyes) it was just kissing when actors do this all the time. I for one am really happy to hear that Kristen is reprising her role in Snow White cuz I thought it was brilliant and her best performance yet. Depp said it the best somehing like this “if you ever loved two people then you really never loved the first one and you should move on.” let’s stop blaming people for making mistakes and settling with people they didn’t really love but were just stuck in their comfort zones with them. Let’s move foward from here as I’m sure these people are trying to do. Gnight 🙂

Drop the harlot! She is 100% to blame and no one else! She used her wicked ways to break up a marriage and now she should suffer from it.

Best performance yet! Hahahahaha, I bet she looked like she had to take a huge crap like she does in all her films! She’s a poor excuse for an actress, I was glad to hear she was dropped cause I might have seen the sequal if she was.

Hahaha never actually thought about that. She does look like she’s strains her emotions out hahaha! Any how did you see snow white? Honestly she was alright in it. Don’t really like her in anything else but I’m a sucker for sword movies and I think she fit the role nicely. I hate it when studios drop an actor like Edward Norten in avengers it takes away the reality of that role. For me anyways. But honestly guys what she done wasn’t that big of a deal compared to what celebs do these days the only difference is the iconic character she portrayed in twilight and the fact she’s really dating the friggen vampire that it’s hitting home for some people. I’m just saying get over the whole drama. Maybe if we’re lucky she’ll come out with a sex tape soon and really look like she’s taking a crap! HAHAHAHAHA! Poor girl. Just kidding Kris. Go kiss more guys we’ll still respect you 🙂

Alright fine. What she did wasn’t that big of a deal; people cheat all the time, and some of you are fine with it. Moreso, Rupert Sanders was equally to blame in this mess.

Having said that Kristen only apologized when she was given a heads-up her affair would be published, and her comments since have-been selfish and narcissistic (What is Rob going to say about ME, I hope he doesn’t slander ME too much, me me me, what about me).

And of course, she is a lousy actress. Her apology felt no less emotionaless than her acting.

Why does wnyone care really. If she’s dropped, it’s no big deal, she wasn’t the best oart of this movie anyway, easily replacable. If she’s not dropped, well whatever. As far as her love life, I’ll worry about mine before anyone else’s.

See, the studio is allowed to explore different dirctions for their movie/franchise. But of course even the hint that they would go a different direction means clearly it had to do with the cheating. Like a movie studio that big would worry abotu having a reputation of hiring an adulterer. or I’m sure half the executives would be hippocrites.
