Usher and Justin BieberCanadian pop star Justin Bieber came home to Toronto for his 16th birthday (March 1st) after celebrating in Los Angeles and revealed that Usher chipped in to buy him his first car. The singing sensation told Live On Studio Five: “I was in LA [for my birthday]. I can drive.”

I wish they wouldn’t do that, he’s new to “fame”, and already he’s getting filled with incredible gifts, which could make his head swell.

This little dude must have some talent,or he wouldn’t be where he is.I’m sure his family is very proud of him.I hope his music kicks a$$ for many years to come.
Usher did the right thing by not fully paying for Justin’s car as a B-day present.Letting the young dude pay for half will help him become a responsible adult.I believe it was a life lesson, that no-body’s career is carved in stone!I hope they are urging him to continue his education,as a back-up plan!!

Revolver, I take it you aren’t a 12 year old girl.

Gypsy, although your belief that he must have some talent or he wouldn’t be where he is is something we would like to be true, let me change it slightly and see if it still makes sense: Paris Hilton must have some talent or she wouldn’t be where she is. Unfortunately, you don’t need to be talented to succeed. Not saying he is or isn’t, just that it isn’t a requirement.

Silver..Paris Hilton’s lack of talent, comes from her families money!!Justin Bieber’s talent is his vocal ability, generated toward the tween-age girls. That is the reason I mentioned continued education, you never know when the buck’s stop rolling in!

  11. silver • March 26, 2010 @ 8:57 AM

Gypsy, having money isn’t a talent, so do you agree you don’t necessarily need talent to be successful?

  12. gypsy • March 26, 2010 @ 11:24 AM

Well Silver personally I don’t consider Paris Hilton to have any talent, perhaps you can tell me what category her success comes under??Or how about we compare apples to apples!!

  13. tributegirl • March 26, 2010 @ 12:01 PM

Paris has no talent, and in my opinion is not successful. Her money was inherited, that’s not success.

  14. mandee • March 29, 2010 @ 12:46 AM

so was her spot in the light, as far as im concerned. paris is a disgusting human being. i agree with gypsys comments as well as tgs second comment. tg, i dont believe that it will cause his head to swell because like gypsy said, he has to pay for half. i think the main reason he paid for half and was in on the whole car thing is because justin is too young to own a car in his name. i may be wrong however, because im not sure of the laws, but im under the impression he only has a g1 and if thats true i dont think he can legally own a car because he cant drive it by himself.

silver, found a new person to pick on huh? so is that how its going to be? EVERY article youre only going to comment on what gypsy says, not the article? and youre not going to be rude and pick at anyone elses comments? just hers? and praise up everyone around her that comments? maybe YOU are a “12 year old girl”?

  15. silver • March 29, 2010 @ 11:36 AM

Mandee, I don’t think I was “picking” on gypsy, nor do I think I was even close to being rude. She made the comment that if he didn’t have talent he wouldn’t be successful, and I just said you don’t need talent. I don’t think Paris Hilton has any significant talent, but she has managed to be a very talked about and followed person, for no reason at all, really. I don’t like Justin Bieber, but I don’t know if he has talent. I’ve seen one music video, which I thought was silly, and his “posing” to me is fake.

Paris Hilton is successful at being famous, yet has no talent. All I’m asking gypsy is if she believes you need talent to be successful

A simple question. Not rude. If you are going to give your opinion, why can’t I ask for clarification? Why is it if someone asks something about someone’s opinion (or even worse, dare to challenge the reasoning behind it), some people go crazy?

  16. mandee • March 29, 2010 @ 12:48 PM

well, im not “going crazy” im simply defending someone that you upset by your comments. if you want to question or challenge anything, go right ahead. thats your god given right, but perhaps you should try to word it a little nicer next time so people dont think youre coming off as cold or rude and then no one will “go crazy” trying to defend themselves, their right to what they think, or someone elses right to their own opinion. it just seems strange when you start posting on the articles theres generally one specific person you “question” or “challenge” per week and its always the ones you know are going to get offended so you word things just right so they do get offended and you can try to maintain your “innocent me” image. youre not fooling me. anyways, im just curious, are you male or female? it makes it easier when i speak of you or to you if i know what gender you are because then i can pretend i know who im talking to.

Silver if your gonna quote me at least make it accurate! Not once did I mention successful IN any of my comments.I did state he must have some TALENT,now my opinion of successful is not a few months in any business. That would take years of hit songs to accurately be described as a successful singer.Justin is a young boy, that is why I continue to repeat education,as a back-up plan!!
