Victoria Beckham drives off without son

From her perfect dress attire to her flawless image, no detail goes unnoticed with Victoria Beckham — except maybe a missing family member. Recently, the fashion designer was stretched to the max while trying to juggle her kids — Brooklyn Joseph, 13, Romeo James,9, Cruz David, 7, and Harper Seven, 9 months — and her career. “I got up early with Harper… got all the kids their breakfast, got them ready for school, put Harper in the car seat and said, ‘Come on kids, we have to get going or we’re going to be late’ — every morning I take Brooklyn, and David takes the little boys to school. We take it in turns because they go to two different schools,” Beckham told Vanity Fair. “So I jump in my Range Rover, put the car seat in, put my iPod on and I drive to school.” Only something didn’t seem right. The 38-year-old mogul realized she had left without the child who needed to go to school. “I’d left Brooklyn in the kitchen,” she said. “I was driving along, talking away, and all of a sudden, I looked at the front seat, and I was like S***! I’ve forgot something.” Fortunately, Posh found Brooklyn along with an audience outside the family’s home. “David was standing there in the driveway with all three boys, just [shaking his head]. And I felt like such an idiot because I was in such a rush.” ~Graeme Mollison

    Dear Tribute.ca

It’s Harper SEVEN….not Steven. She’s a girl!! (Not that seven is a girls name, or anything, but still…..)

    Ha!

  3. David • May 10, 2012 @ 10:44 AM

Yeah, it can happen to anyone who is full of themselves.

It can happen to anyone. Not just people full of themselves. That statement alone shows how full of yourself you are, David.

For the record, I’m not a fan. But I am a parent. Things like this happen. Not often, or not often enough that people will admit, but it happens.

Calm yourselves people. She isn’t full of herself. She is human. My parents have left me places before. Everyone I know has at least one story of parents forgetting them somewhere. It’s quite human.

That picture looks like an angry seductive Jennifer Love Hewitt.

    Dear KC: who cares?
Dear Tribute: who cares? This is the stupidest article I’ve ever read, and I can’t seem to figure out why you would print this. I used to love Posh but even the way she seems to tell the story is stupid. PLEASE! STOP!

KC Check your eyesite, they did refer to the baby as Harper Seven, not Steven as you want to point out. And as for this happening, yes, it does happen more often than one thinks! People even leave babies in taxi cabs.

I was on the subway recently and there was a normal, every day woman on the same car with her 4 children in tow – they were all relatively young and were acting up and giving her a fairly hard time. It was getting towards suppertime and I suspect they were tired and hungry.
That said, she managed to get off the train and leave a 7 year old behind. The child was playing a gameboy and not paying attention when she called all of the children to get to the door.
She realized her mistake just as the door closed. I felt terrible for her and the child and called to her that I would meet her at the next stop. I steered the child off the subway at the next stop (still playing his gameboy and seemingly unfazed by the situation).
She arrived on the next train and thanked me profusely. I have to admit I did something similar when my son was younger – It can happen to anybody.
TRIBUTE – I really don’t need to hear about the boring, everyday happenings of someone who happens to have been famous. What’s next? She washed her hands, she was seen reading a newspaper? How is this news??

Yvonne, sometimes after people report mistakes in articles, someone on staff may make a note of it and if need be will EDIT it accordingly. I myself have seen grammatical or fact errors and pointed them out only for it to have been EDITED and subsequently have my post(like KC’s) look ridiculous!

It happens – not that it should be big news. I suppose it is to Beckham fans though. Enough already!
