Vince Vaughn rebooting Brady Bunch

CBS Studios have had a lot of success reviving old series recently, producing shows like Hawaii Five-O and CW’s 90210 – reintroducing younger generations to popular TV shows from the past but with a modern take. It looks like CBS is bringing back one more classic – The Brady Bunch – with the help of the comedy actor Vince Vaughn. The original Brady Bunch followed the adventures of a large, blended family – made up of a mother with three daughters and a father with three sons – which aired from 1969 to 1974. The modern CBS reboot will be produced by the Wedding Crashers actor and will focus on a divorced, then remarried, Bobby Brady (the youngest boy in the original series) and his very complicated family life. Raising Hope writer Mike Mariano has reportedly already written the script for the pilot. It has not been determined whether any of the original cast members will be returning to work on the reboot, but if they do, viewers are sure to be in for a treat. ~Stacy Raivich

What’s this? Family television somehow finally returning after an entire generation escaped to selfishness and reality living. What’s next, Family Ties, Perfect Strangers, Who’s The Boss(aka Melissa & Joey), The Golden Girls(aka Hot In Cleveland), Family Matters, Full House, One Day At A Time, The Facts of Life..very happy that old television programming is coming back to every household; I just hope the next generation of kids/families have more or the same values that carried from the 60’s to mid 90’s and whatever is on its way now.
