Vincent Cassel to star with Winona Ryder and Natalie Portman

By Alexandra Heilbron on November 9, 2009 | 5 Comments

vincent_casselVincent Cassel and Winona Ryder have been recruited to appear in the supernatural thriller Black Swan. According to Le Parisien, the actors are joining Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis, who were previously cast. The story follows a ballerina (Portman) nearing the end of her career who finds herself in fierce competition with her dance rival (Kunis). The rivalry intensifies as a big performance approaches. However, Portman’s character is not sure whether her rival is a ghost or a figment of her imagination. Vincent Cassel won the César Award for Best Actor earlier this year for his role as Jacques Mesrine in Public Enemy Number One.

Yeah, it doesn’t even mention any part that Winona Ryder might play, it just says she’s been “recruited to appear”. Do you think she’ll STEAL the show? Hahahahaha.
