Walking Dead actor arrested for DUI

Walking Dead actor Scott Wilson, who plays alcoholic farmer Hershel Greene on the popular AMC series, was arrested last week for driving under the influence in Peachtree City. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the 70-year-old actor told police he had scotch and wine at the Founders Restaurant & Bar near Senoia, which is where the third season of Walking Dead is currently filming. Wilson was originally pulled over for speeding when they realized he was intoxicated. The police report stated that Wilson was going “well above the posted speed limit” and “swerved back and forth” several times. When the actor was finally pulled over, he complained that the road was slanted and that he wanted to do yoga. Besides the hit series, Wilson has also appeared in the feature films Dead Man Walking, In the Heat of the Night and In Cold Blood. The third season of Walking Dead airs October 14. ~Isabelle Khoo
