Washington says Knight is jealous

Isaiah WashingtonIsaiah Washington has spoken out again about being fired from Grey’s Anatomy, following his use of the f-word to describe his gay former co-star, T.R. Knight. He says, “T.R. Knight was very tactical in trying to remove me from the show because he knows that I know, and I was gagged, that he has been working on a conspiracy to get Patrick Dempsey and myself off the show for the last year and a half… I know Patrick Dempsey has supported me by stating that if there is anyone that needs to be fired it is T.R. Knight because he has created such a negative environment on that set because he felt like he has not been treated and given the same leading man kinds of story lines.”

Washington is right. Its absolutely rediculous why he got fired from the show.

Just a thought. Why is Washington trying to become the victim? In my opinion, he should’ve been fired back in October when the incident occured!! Yet, when Imus made racial remarks, he was fired (and rightly so) within… what +/- 2 weeks? Was Washington not fired sooner because he’s a minority? Frankly, being a minority, one would think he’d know what discrimination is all about!

Dude…he already apoligized and has done more for the gay community then T.R. Knight has ever done.

    Responding to “Anonymous”,

Yes, he did apologize. But the fact that he still rants about the situation has nothing to do with doing anything for the gay community! We already know he’s a homophobe, now tell him to move on and shut up about it. And, regarding T.R. Knight… he has done more for the gay community. He came out! Anyone who is gay understands the stresses with coming out. If I had a role model when I came out, such as an actor like him, it may not have been so difficult.
