That Christmas – A blizzard hits a seaside town, setting off entwined tales of family, friends, love and loneliness – and Santa making a big mistake. Debuts December 4 on Netflix.

Mary – A coming-of-age biblical epic in which Mary is shunned following a miraculous conception and forced into hiding. When King Herod ignites a murderous pursuit for her newborn baby Jesus, Mary and Joseph go on the run – bound by faith and driven by courage – to save his life at all costs. Debuts December 6 on Netflix.

The Dead Don’t Hurt – French Canadian flower seller Vivienne Le Coudy (Vicky Krieps) meets Danish carpenter Holger Olsen (Viggo Mortensen) in San Francisco and agrees to travel with him to his home near the quiet town of Elk Flats, where they start a life together. They’re separated when Holger joins the army during the Civil War, leaving Vivienne to fend for herself. Available December 3 on DVD/Blu-ray and debuts December 6 on Paramount+.

Viggo Mortensen, who wrote and directed The Dead Don’t Hurt, explains how he wound up playing the lead romantic role opposite Vicky Krieps in the film, even though he’d written it for a younger actor. Vicky tells why the film works better with Viggo in the role. Viggo also reveals the Lord of the Rings connection that LOTR fans didn’t miss, even though it was brief.

Alien Romulus – While scavenging the deep ends of a derelict space station, a group of young space colonizers come face to face with the most terrifying life form in the universe. Available December 3 on DVD and Blu-ray.

Fede Alvarez, who directed Alien: Romulus, talks about his longtime love for the Alien movies and reveals why he used a young, unknown cast for this latest installment. He also tells which is his favorite creature from the movies.
