Saint-Pierre – When he tries to expose a politician’s corruption, Newfoundland Constabulary Inspector Donny “Fitz” Fitzpatrick (Allan Hawco) is exiled to work in Saint-Pierre and Miquelon (the French Territory on the St. Lawrence River just off the coast of Newfoundland). Fitz’s arrival disrupts the life of Deputy Chief Geneviève “Arch” Archambault (Joséphine Jobert), a Parisian transplant who is in Saint-Pierre for her own intriguing reasons. Debuts January 6 on CBC and CBC Gem.

Allan Hawco (Republic of Doyle) and French actress Joséphine Jobert talk about playing police detectives who solve crimes on the French island of Saint-Pierre. They tell how the series came to be created, what it’s like on Saint-Pierre (including what kind of animal you can find roaming around freely) and why this crime series is so exciting.

Conclave – Cardinal Lawrence (Ralph Fiennes) is tasked with running the covert process of electing a new Pope after the unexpected death of the current one. Once the Catholic Church’s most powerful leaders have gathered from around the world and are locked together in the Vatican, Lawrence discovers a secret that could shake the very foundation of The Church. Available January 7 on DVD and Blu-ray.

Carlos Diehz, who makes his home in Vancouver, plays his first feature film role in Conclave. He tells how he was cast in the integral role of Cardinal Benitez despite limited prior onscreen experience, how he trained for the film and reveals how his co-stars Ralph Fiennes and John Lithgow treated him.

Saturday Night – Based on the true story of what happened behind the scenes in the 90 minutes leading up to the first broadcast of Saturday Night Live. Full of humor, chaos, and the magic of a revolution that almost wasn’t, we count down the minutes in real time until we hear those famous words. Available January 7 on DVD and Blu-ray.
