Whoopi joins The View

Whoopi Goldberg has been hired to replace Rosie O’Donnell as co-host of the TV talk show The View. She’ll debut September 4th on the show. A frequent guest, Whoopi was the frontrunner to join the team, producers say. Goldberg told the Los Angeles Times: “I’m just planning to be me. You know, I’m not Rosie and I don’t have any shoes to fill. I’m not going to pretend like I can do what she can do with an audience. . . . Hopefully I’ll be just as interesting.”

   Excellent!! She is much better than a fat and ugly man-hater!!
   Whoopi is a positive person with only good things to say about people. Good luck trying to get her into a feud that will overshadow the business and structure of The View. Rosie hi-jacked too much of that show’s time with her own personal agenda.

   I wish I watched TV more often or had cable to boot…I love Whoopi. She’s been gone too long.
