Why Robert Pattinson is afraid

Robert Pattinson has revealed why, despite the millions he’s made since appearing in the first Twilight movie, he prefers to stay in hotels rather than buy a house. He told Vanity Fair: “I’m afraid of buying a house or anything, ’cause if there’s one paparazzi outside for one day, then they’ll never leave.” In order to get some sanity in his life, he says, “the best way to deal with it is to move around all the time.” He also doesn’t like airports because of the attention he gets from fans. “It’s weird, because people have this one-sided relationship where they look at your picture and feel they know you more than someone they actually know.” He added, joking, “I don’t really know myself that well.” He finds that people treat him differently now. “It’s funny now,” he explains, “like, trying to socialize with people. There’s this cautiousness about people which I just find really weird. Or I’ll be walking down the street and people’ll be like, ‘F**k you!’” He laughs. “And I get a lot of people wanting to beat me up. Men in bars and stuff. I just leave.” He went on a road trip with his friends, and for the most part, he was able to go unrecognized, but at one bar in Texas, word got out and the crowd that gathered outside the bar was so big that police had to come to control them. He says he was surprised when one of the bouncers asked him, “You want us to go and knock someone out?” Robert says, “I was like, ‘What are you talking about? You don’t need to hit anybody.’”
