Wife bans Rupert Sanders from working with Kristen Stewart

By Tribute on August 3, 2012 | 14 Comments

In spite of the studio’s recent insistence that Rupert Sanders was still formally attached to the Snow White & the Huntsman sequel – it seems like he might have to pull out of the project anyway; that is, if his wife has anything to say about it. In light of the recent scandal between Sanders and his starlet, Kristen Stewart, many suspected that this could spell the end of the pair’s relationship – and, in the case of Sanders, his career. A scandal of this magnitude could be devastating to the first-time director, but his main priority will have to be to his family. Radar Online is reporting through an unnamed source that Sanders’ wife “let it be known in no uncertain terms that Rupert can’t direct the sequel to Snow White & the Huntsman. They are trying to work things out after he was caught having an affair, and that is one of the sticking points. She just doesn’t want him to ever work with Kristen again.” And with the studio under no contractual obligation to bring the director back, it seems like a no-brainer to replace him. “When Rupert signed up for Snow White and the Huntsman, he didn’t know he was going to get a chance to direct a sequel,” the source continues. “His contract with Universal was only for one movie. It was a verbal agreement that he was to take the reins on the sequel, nothing was ever signed. Kristen, as the film’s lead, will get preference over Rupert and Universal will just find another director.” ~Devin Garabedian

Rupert Sanders career should not be effected for something that has nothing to do with any of us.. It’s a personal matter and they should deal with it.. People need to mind their business..

No wonder he cheated his wife’s a dog lol. You know we don’t know the whole story maybe his wife is not given it up? Maybe she’s a b*tch who knows? Maybe Robert was an ass you know, honestly we really should mind our own business when it comes to celebrities personal lives. Anyways I hope someone will make a sequel I loved that movie 🙂

Kristen Stewart showed zero class in trying to break up this marriage. She is a home wrecker, a thief, a substance abuser, and a terrible actress!

I think Rupert and Wife will figure things out.

Nobody really knows what happened here as it is all tabloid fodder. Nobody knows what goes on in most peoples lives. It is a private matter.

By the way. Is all the name calling necessary?

Please don’t make a sequel. While I enjoyed most of the movie, the ending was total c**p and we don’t need to mess with it.

First of all we really dont know what happened. Its true that Rupert’s wife may have let go of the marriage…its true that Rupert himself may be a chronic womanizer and its true that Mr. Twilight could be lacking in several aspects but what we shouldn’t be doing is putting all the blame on a 22 yr old. I mean she could’ve fallen in love with a sweet talkin older man, who should’ve known better.

Personal and professional lines shouldn’t intersect. His directing ability and jobs should have nothing to do with his inability to keep his pants on. Chances are, he and Kristen could work every job together and never go anywhere near each other because of everyone watching. If I were his wife (and I didn’t kick him to the curb) I’d be more concerned with every other young hottie he was going to work with… He’ll take another shot if given some privacy and half a chance…

Who cares. I can’t believe this is big news still.
But yeah, his wife might want to give the relationship another chance but obviously that’s a pretty small request. And he can find another movie to direct, I’m sure.

Candy well said! Suneagle, $50 says you’re not married right now and $150 more says your eventual wife will be 100x “more of a dog” than Rupert’s wife. You should be ashamed of yourself you scoundrel! And that movie definitely does not need a sequel, it should have been scrapped after someone with half a clue bothered to give the script a good read-through.

They should replace KS instead, she can’t act!

How about instead of replacing Sanders, replace Kristen Stuart with someone who has more than one facial expression, what a schmuck.

Sorry but I dont blame his wife. She is victim and she is hurt. Stewart is lower than low. Not only did she talk and work with his wife but she looked her in the eye knowing she was sleeping with her husband. There is a difference of not knowing the wife and knowing the wife. Steward is lower than dirt. I dont care if she is a star. I dont care if Rob is dumb enough to take her back. She didnt just cheat on her BF. She cheated with a married man on a set where the wife was there. I am not saying he doesnt have to take responsibility in this action and it was all her fault. Really he has children and needs to work his relationship out. Rob and Kristen have nothing but a relationship that Rob can move on from. You would think different if she wasnt a star. You would think different if it happened to you. Stewart didnt come out because she felt guilty. She came out and said something because she got caught. Plain and simple and I wonder if he was willing to leave his wife for her. Would she still be saying she is sorry to Rob? Who ever said his wife was a dog you are so nuts. His wife is beautiful and he thought steward wasnt worth leaving his wife for.
