iSkin, a top maker of cool gadget accessories, and Tribute.ca are thrilled to announce the launch of “Cool In You”—a national online singing competition in search Canada’s next big music star. We invite aspiring Canadian indie musicians of all genres the opportunity to upload their music videos and share them with Canadian public voters for a chance to win a trip for two to Toronto and a $20,000 (CAD) music prize package including recording, mixing and mastering a song with Platinum recording producer Marcus Kane. The “Cool in You” contest opened May 7, 2011 to all unsigned Canadian musicians and bands, age 13 and up (excluding Quebec). All eligible entrants are encouraged to submit their three-minute (max) music video at coolinyou.tribute.ca. Once their video is submitted, the Canadian public will be encouraged to vote via social networking, narrowing the contest down to 10 of Canada’s favorites. Top 10 finalists will be judged by a highly energized panel of music industry judges who will decide on the final “Cool In You” winner!
