Bummed you couldn’t score a ticket to some of the hottest premieres hitting Toronto? You may be in luck. D-Films is giving away one pair of tickets to each of these three Toronto International Film Festival 2015 premieres: Stonewall, Love and Sleeping Giant.
Stonewall is a fictional re-telling of the 1969 Stonewall riots in New York City’s Greenwich Village, which sparked the LGBTQ rights movement across North America. The film stars Jeremy Irvine, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Jonny Beauchamp and Ron Perlman and is directed by 2012‘s Roland Emmerich. Stonewall premieres Sept. 18 at 9:30 p.m. at Roy Thompson Hall.
Love is a sexually charged 3D drama revolving around a man (Karl Glusman) who reflects on what could have been after the memory of an old lover (Aomi Muyock) is thrust back into his life, directed by French filmmaker Gaspar Noé. Love premieres Sept. 15 at 8:45 p.m. at Ryerson Theatre.
Sleeping Giant is a Canadian drama that follows three teenage boys spending their summer wasting away in the idyllic but dull surroundings of Ontario cottage country. The film marks the directorial debut of Canadian filmmaker and writer Andrew Cividino.
To win a pair of tickets to one of these premieres, simply leave a comment below identifying which film you’d like to see. Winners will be contacted on Monday, Sept. 14. Good luck!

In 1969 I hitchhiked to Toronto from Belleville On. And went to my very first gay nightclub called the 511 which was located in the basement of 511 Yonge St. I’ve been here ever since now at age 67. I remember being mesmerized by the news of the Stonewall riot and wished I could have been there at the time.It lit the fuse for equality of LGBTQ rights which exist today. I would love to take a friend to the premiere of Stonewall at the Roy Thompson Hall.
Love to see stonewall.
it would be such an honour to go see Sleeping Giant at TIFF2015. i watched the short in the beggining of the year and fell in love with it; spoke to Andrew C. (the director) after the screening snd he told me a feature version was in the works. then, a couple of months later i walk into a bus and look down and see a newspaper with the headline: ”Sleeping Giant’ picked up at Cannes! was so incredibly proud and excited for it, i really hope to get a chance to see it at TIFF, thought it was sold out.
Oh man! I tried to get 2 tickets to go see Sleeping Giant but it was sold out.. You guys, make my dream come true and help me watch this great film at TIFF 2015.
