Wonder Woman date change and 2 new DC films announced!

Warner Bros. made some pretty major announcements yesterday which are sure to leave movie fans reeling.

First, the upcoming superhero flick Wonder Woman will be moved up three weeks to June 2, 2017. The film was originally slated for a June 23 release, but considering the stellar reception of Gal Gadot as the Amazonian superheroine in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, it makes sense that the studio would want to release it as soon as possible.

In addition, Jungle Book: Origins, directed by Andy Serkis, has been moved back almost a full year — from October 6, 2017 to October 19, 2018 — creating a more than two year gap between the flick and Disney’s The Jungle Book, which hits theaters on April 15.

And because Warner Bros. likes to tease us, they also announced the release of two untitled DC films, set for October 5, 2018 and November 1, 2019. These mysterious projects could be for any number of DC characters, so that leads us to ask…
