The second trailer for the ninth X-Men film, X-Men: Apocalypse, hit the web today, and features a firestorm of non-stop action, reintroducing all the original characters fans loved in previous installments X-Men: First Class and X-Men: Days of Future Past, as well as a few exciting additions.

Set against jaw-dropping special effects and a dramatic cover of Coldplay’s “Don’t Panic,” the epic trailer has the X-Men battling the most powerful and cataclysmic force they’ve ever encountered — Apocalypse and his four horsemen.

Directed by X-Men mainstay Bryan Singer, the film follows Professor X (James McAvoy), Magneto (Michael Fassbender), Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) and the impressive team of X-Men as they prepare for the rising of the first mutant in existence, En Sabah Nur (an unrecognizable Oscar Isaac), also known as Apocalypse, and the impending destruction of Earth and its weakest beings.

The highly anticipated superhero flick will see the return of Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggert, Tye Sheridan as Cyclops, Evan Peters as Quicksilver, and the thrilling introduction of Game of ThronesSophie Turner as a young Jean Grey.
