Rob Knox, an 18-year-old actor who plays Ravenclaw student Marcus Belby in Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince, was stabbed to death in a brawl outside a London pub early Saturday. He was apparently defending his younger brother in an early-morning argument with the 21-year-old suspect, who was arrested, according to U.K.-based Web site Times Online. Knox, who’d appeared on British television, made his big screen debut in Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince, which will be released November 21st.

What a waste of life. What the h*ll is going on with young people these days? And more importantly, what is it going to take to change this tidal wave of violence?
He died helping his brother, which is really sad.I agree with tributegirl, there’s just so much violence in the world.
It seems like the justice system of almost every country in the free world is letting their public down by letting kids get away with murder, literally. I’d like to see the people take things into their own hands, take back their streets, bring safety back into their communities. I’ll tell ya one thing, if a gang of young punks starts beating on me, I won’t just stand there, and I won’t run. I’ll probably get the sh*t beat out of me, but I’ll inflict as much damage on them as possible, I don’t care how old they are.

The Young Offenders Act, should be re-named ‘Free Ride’, or ‘Slap on The Hand’. Damn kids are bad nowadays! No, not misbehaving….BAD!!! I remember when I was in school for instance, MOST of YOU will probably feel the same too, the last f-ing place I wanted to get sent was the principals office! Holy sh!t!! The principal would hold your wrist and put your hand on his desk and take that big strap and belt your hand with it, like 20 million times!!!! Now, the principal is not even there 1/2 the time, and when the kids misbehave they just call home and whine to the parents…who mostly don’t discipline them either because they are never home!! The schools teach the kids to tell them if their parents ‘hit’ them or to call CAS, the police or a child’s help line. This is ok for those who are being abused but for discipline, come on people!!
My 11 year old daughter’s friends gave her the CAS tip. She used it on me, too! I dialed the phone for her…she sure changed her tune in a hurry!!!

Nancy, I hope she learned a lesson! We’ve been having tons of problems with my 14 year old niece, and it’s getting worse. Her mother keeps blaming all her friends! It’s not gonna get any better until mommy wakes up and toughens up, I hope that happens before it’s too late.
Oh, she learned alright!! The lady told her flat out to do as her mother tells her and that CAS is not there for kids who don’t want to follow the rules. She hasn’t played that card anymore! I also gave one of her friends in particular, a good scolding…and then had to scold her mother, as well….who just so happens to be a school teacher!! I told my daughter that I would switch her schools if she did not behave. Off topic: I think that Gina, Trixie, double, mike m, Jo-Anne, xray and more are all the same person, don’t you?

I have wondered about Arnold, too!! But yes, I believe Gina blue is because not only did she and I always butt heads but she disappeared RIGHT before the double came on. Karen too. And Gina admitted that SHE was Trixie! Then yesterday, I caught xray using that name and anonymous within a few minutes of each other on 2 diff. topics but, saying the same thing, and it was all the same thing this Jo-Anne said. I’m totally convinced that all these personalities are from the same whacko!! 🙂 CREEPY!!

Ok, with blue Gina, yeah you two did butt heads, but in a good way, you both have very strong opinions and voice them very strongly, but most of the time you both respected each others opinions even when you didn’t agree. Plus, she admitted that she doubled as Trixie, and she seemed to actually regret it. So I really don’t think she’s involved in this.
But, there is someone on here with several split personalities, and I am sure Jo-Anne is one of them. She came out of nowhere, but knew everything about all the regular posters on here. I forgot about Karen, to tell you the truth. And Minerva is suddenly back, sometimes. X-ray and brownie are here once in a while.
I think Poppa John in Exile is the real deal though, what do you think? I’m thinking there are probably only about 4 or 5 people actually on here, just one uses several aliases. We already figured out tammy and jennie_bearz are the same person.

Wait a minute, Gina and Karen were being doubled around the same time as Arnold, weren’t they? Double almost drove “me” insane (which is yours truly, by the way, changing my name was the only way to get rid of him-or so I thought, until I found the “contact us” button!). So, double drove “me” to change my name, then stopped doubling me because he/she didn’t know I changed my name, so then started doubling Gina, Karen, and Arnold. He also learned to be a blue Nancy for awhile, didn’t he? I think that’s when I told you about the “contact us” button, because he was also doubling me as tributegirl.

Yeah, I’d like to know who that anonymous was that posted above you. I don’t think most people go through the archives, I only do once in a while looking back over the bigger articles, but I will stay on this one.
Yes, I am truly just this one person, I used to be “me”, then “theoriginalme” after double made an appearance, then when he copied “theoriginalme”, I just went to anonymous for awhile. Then I made up tributegirl, which he ended up copying as well, but by then I found the contact us button, which helped. Whenever there was a post on there under my name that wasn’t me, I’d contact them again, they know my e-mail address, so when a request to delete a post by double came from my e-mail addy, they knew it was me. That has helped my situation a lot.
And I know what you mean, I spend too much time here too, and my house is suffering for it! I had also wondered if it was someone at tribute, but I don’t really think so. Anythings possible, but I doubt it.

Yeah, tell me about it! They do that to me sometimes too! I can understand if there is a lot of swearing or whatever in it, but sometimes there is nothing bad in it at all! And sometimes they delete comments out of the blue. The article on Sex & the City had a bunch of comments that have now been deleted, which is actually ok with me, because I was getting tired of arguing with that tammy/jenni_bearz person.
