Zac Efron plays Santa at Children’s Hospital

zac_efron.jpgZac Efron visited patients at Los Angeles’ Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA last week. He posed for photos with the critically ill children and gave away $100,000 worth of toys in partnership with Gifts.com. The kids received High School Musical merchandise as well as Sesame Street dolls, electronic keyboards and games. A source said, “He really spent time bonding with each of the children and their families. The kids were smitten and beaming from ear to ear. Some of the kids couldn’t even speak, but they had the widest grins and would sit as close to him as possible. Zac was super gracious and could not have been more kind and truly happy to be there.”

That was very nice and generous of him to not only hand out gifts but to spend his day with these kids and their families. For a person to give of their time sometimes means more than money.

Aww Zac is such a sweetheart. =D i love when celebrities do charity work and it seems from reading the article that Zac does indeed really enjoy spending time with these children. Go Zac!

im so glad to see YOUNG stars doing things that matter and being there for sick children. everyone needs someone to help brighten their day, but clearly these children need more than anyone else. good for him, i really hope that he keeps his pure heart and continues to do things to help society and children. and seriously jo, all you do is complain and be rude to me nancy and tribute girl, then you wonder why we think its you when someone comes in under a different name and does the same thing? clearly you need to do some (more?) CHARITY work yourself, or spend more time working, or just get a life and stop trying to always start things with everyone. if it wasnt you making those snide comments under a different name, perhaps you wouldnt be so hell bent on trying to clear your name by once again, starting with nancy. 🙂 its pretty obvious when someone gets mad and/or defensive, they have are trying to hide something 😀
