Zac Efron wears sobriety chip

Zac Efron wore a six-months sobriety chip at a basketball game. The High School Musical star, who spent time in rehab last April for alleged cocaine and alcohol abuse, was spotted wearing a blue Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) sobriety chip, given out during meetings as a symbol of encouragement and support, on a chain around his neck while cheering on the LA Lakers in Los Angeles on December 20. The Parkland star is thought to have entered treatment earlier this year after friends expressed their concern about his ''erratic'' behavior while filming the upcoming raunchy comedy Neighbors. Zac, who broke his jaw last month after he slipped on a puddle and fell flat on his face outside his home, recently poked fun at rumors he sustained the injury after a night of partying. The 26-year-old star appeared in a video, posted online on December 23, alongside his That Awkward Moment co-stars, Miles Teller and Michael B. Jordan, who joked that he hurt himself after he gave a girl the ''worst sexual experience of her life'' and explained: ''So she picked up a book, a heavy book, and slammed it into your beautiful face.'' Zac had to have his mouth wired shut and was in tremendous pain, which forced him to cancel an upcoming promotional tour for the movie, following the incident. He now appears to have made a full recovery.
