Born: January 14, 1974

Born and raised in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Kevin Serge Durand has played a variety of roles on the big screen. He has come far from his small town origins to become a recognized Hollywood actor.

Graduating from St. Ignatius High School, Kevin got his first big movie break as 'Tree' Lane in the sports comedy Mystery, Alaska. He then landed regular roles on TV series such as Stargate SG-1, Touching Evil, and most notably in James Cameron's Dark Angel series, playing the role of Joshua.

After appearing in a number of TV movies, Kevin starred as Carlos in the big budget feature The Butterfly Effect (2004), alongside Ashton Kutcher. His great height and muscular frame gained him attention and interest as an action movie star. While guest starring in TV shows such as CSI Miami and Without a Trace, Kevin began landing roles in Hollywood action flicks, including Smokin' Aces (2006), X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009), Robin Hood (2010), I am Number Four (2011), Resident Evil: Retribution (2012), and The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (2013).

He also had regular roles such as Harbard on the series Vikings (2015-2016) for the History Channel, Rutger Hiss in the NBC-TV comedy Trial & Error (2016-2017) and Frederick Gideon on the Netflix series Locke & Key (2021-2022).

Back on the big screen, he played Peter in the hit box office horror film, Abigail (2024)

Kevin, who speaks French fluently, has a daughter, Amélie Moon, with his wife, Sandra Cho.
