As a teenager, Richard Crenna performed in radio serials before graduating to television series in the '50's. He was a regular on Our Miss Brooks (1952-55) and The Real McCoys (1957-63). He made his big-screen debut in 1952, but didn't appear in many films until the late 1960's.
