Thomas Mann biography
Date of Birth: September 27, 1991
Thomas was born in Portland, Oregon, but when he was two, his family moved to Dallas, Texas and it was there that he was raised.
His first taste of acting was as a court jester in his sixth grade production of Sleeping Beauty. He taught himself how to do a backflip and walk on his hands for the role. After this taste of being in the spotlight, Thomas was hooked on acting.
He made made his TV acting debut in 2009 in Nickelodeon's iCarly and the following year he landed his first movie role in the comedy-drama It's Kind of a Funny Story, alongside Zach Galifianakis and Emma Roberts. Shortly after he got his first starring role as a teenager who throws a house party that gets completely out of hand in the film Project X (2012). Other roles quickly followed and Thomas was cast in Hansel and Gretel: The Witch Hunters (2013) and Beautiful Creatures (2013).
Since then, Thomas has not taken a break from shooting films and as a relative newcomer, already has an impressive resumé of acting roles. He has completed roles in films such as Welcome to Me (2014) starring Kristen Wiig and the coming-of-age film Me and Earl and the Dying Girl (2015).
His most recent projects include Kong: Skull Island (2017) with Samuel L. Jackson and Tom Hiddleston, the horror reboot Amityville: The Awakening (2017) alongside Bella Thorne and Jennifer Jason Leigh and the horror Our House (2018) with Nicola Peltz.
In his spare time Thomas enjoys swimming and playing hockey, a sport he has participated in since the age of five.
