In this official trailer for American Honey, a young girl named Star (Sasha Lane) hitchhikes after running away from home. Shane (Shia LaBeouf), who travels with a sales crew, explains how they work as they go door to door and sell magazines while partying. Star agrees to join the crew and tells them no one is really going to miss her. Star gets a ride with a group of strangers who appear to be rich Texans. She joins them in the hopes of making money. Shane bursts into the party and unexpectedly robs them at gun point. Star appears shaken as they make their getaway in the Texan's car.
