In this trailer for the Netflix original series Seven Seconds, assistant prosecutor K.J. Harper (Clare-Hope Ashitey) stares at a pool of blood. She says: "Even when they're dead, they're looking at you, wanting answers." The dead teenager’s parents are seen mourning the loss of their son. The trailer reveals that a white cop was responsible for the black teen’s death. His death soon creates tension in the city of New Jersey. The cop considers turning himself in, but has to consider the impact on his family.
