In the second trailer for the Netflix series Marvel's The Defenders, Alexandra (Sigourney Weaver) talks in a voiceover about how war works. We then witness hand-to-hand combat taking place in an office. She tells a hooded woman, "It's just a city. You'll get used to watching them fall." The four heroes - Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), and Iron Fist (Finn Jones) - enter a restaurant, hoping they'll be safe inside, but as Alexandra says, the war for New York is far from over.
