In the trailer for A Private War, we see armed soldiers walking through a jungle with Marie Colvin (Rosamund Pike), an American war correspondant. After she's hit by a grenade, she has to wear an eye patch. She hires an photographer, Paul Conroy (Jamie Dornan). They go to dangerous areas where their lives are in danger, as it becomes clear it's open season on journalists. She tells Paul that she hates war zones, but feels compelled to see it for herself.
