In the trailer for the Netflix original series Free Rein, we see a young girl named Zoe (Jaylen Barron) riding through a forest, across open fields, and jumping as she explains that six months earlier, she'd never been on a horse. We then see her tackle a bad guy. That's when she decides she should introduce herself to us. She's from L.A., but is spending the summer on an island off the coast of England with her mother, her sister and her grandfather. She was hoping to relax, but then a black horse races up to her on the beach and they bond. She returns him to the nearby stables, where she makes friends and gets involved in a mystery.
