In the official trailer for Catfight, successful businesswoman Veronica Salt (Sandra Oh) has dinner with her family. We then meet Ashley (Anne Heche), who is a struggling artist and is at Veronica's party, working as a server. The two opposites are former college rivals. Veronica runs into Ashley after the party, and drunkenly taunts her. The women get into a brutal fist fight.
When Veronica wakes up, her doctor informs her she has been in a coma for two years, and has lost all her money. Ashley, on the other hand, has found success as an artist, and is expecting a baby. Veronica goes to Ashley's art show, and the two get into another fight. This shifts things again, and Ashley's life is now crumbling downwards. With nothing else going on in her life, Ashley is determined to take Veronica down once and for all.
