Eight years earlier, Citadel, an independent global spy agency with a mission to do good, was destroyed by a new syndicate, Manticore. With their memories wiped, elite agents Mason Kane (Richard Madden) and Nadia Sinh (Priyanka Chopra Jonas) barely escaped with their lives.
With no memory of his earlier life, Mason goes on to marry and has a daughter. He even coaches Little League. But his peaceful life changes drastically when his former handler, Bernard Orlick (Stanley Tucci), kidnaps Mason in an effort to restore the former spy's memory and get him back to work in a time of crisis. When Manticore agents come after them, Mason has to find Nadia and restore her memory so they can reestablish their partnership and work together to stop Manticore's evil plans.
