In this trailer for Midsommar, we meet the fracturing couple of Dani (Florence Pugh) and Christian (Jack Reynor) who argue about Christian's planned trip to Sweden with his friends. Christian for his part vents to his friends who encourage him to break up with Dani, until he receives a call from her who has received news of a family tragedy. Unwilling to leave her at her lowest, he decides to bring Dani along with them to the midsummer festival they've been invited to in a remote Swedish village. What initially came off as a peaceful and idyllic village slowly unravels into an unsettling environment as the festivities take a turn for the bizarre and grotesque as Dani and company's lives are placed in danger.
