Relax, people. Enter into the spirit of this movie. Enjoy! Don't grow up!!
Fatally flawed from beginning to end.
My favorite book in middle school. I’m so happy this film was made!
The movie lacked direction which made it difficult for the younger people to follow.
For those that managed to stay awake, yawning was unavoidable.
MY kids really enjoyed the movie and that's all that matters!
An inadequate attempt to do the book justice.
I love this movie. Show you the real brain wash of the society.
I would give it a -5 if I could, who ever told Oprah she could act...5 minutes on line was all I could handle...8>)
The strongest point of this movie is the costume design which indicates how dismal it is, though it beats Black Panther which may take the award in this category anyways due to affirmative action.
I had low expectations after reading the reviews, but I genuinely really loved this film. Perhaps I am biased because it was one of my very favorite books as a child, but I feel it is a timely, accessible message (acknowledgeing our faults and still being deserving of love) for adults and children alike, and that the message was well portrayed. There were some elements of the book lacking, but that's to be expected because it's a different media. I felt it was visually stunning, and I love how sincere and intimate the relationships were on screen. It was also very thought-provoking and prompted good conversation after the movie. I don't understand why the reviews are consistently low unless it's because noone likes a film written by, directed by, and with almost all of the main characters women and girls. Oh...maybe that's the problem. So, if that fact doesn't faze you, I highly recommend this film.
I loved the book as a child. This is an insult to the source material.
This movie had so much potential: a great director, talented cast and a magical book as the base. Unfortunately the movie was absolutely horrible. It's as if all of the effort went into developing the CGI and they forgot that they needed to tell a story. Very disappointed.
Very different. It kept my interest the whole time.
A Wrinkle In Time is both muddled and banal.
Not as good as the book but what movie ever is. We enjoyed the visuals and the story was very good even though it left out a significant plot vignette of Aunt Beast. People just have no patience for complex stories and concepts these days.
Makes a show of imparting some great wisdom and leaves one with little.
A Wrinkle In Time leaves kids confused so is not recommended. Peter Rabbit and Paddington 2 are far better done, even for an adult.
Beautiful adaptation of an amazing classic. Madeleine L"Engle was way ahead of her time and the movie does not disappoint.
Various scenes touted themselves as being magical but with little plot development they simply appeared dull rather than enlightening.
This movie lacks focus bouncing around from place to place rather clumsily.
The disloyalty to the source material contributed to why A Wrinkle In Time was unable to succeed in bringing this wonderful story to the big screen.
I am surprised to see this got such low marks...really surprised. I did not read the book but understood the premise, it's a known book. Thought they did a fabulous job of playing it out on screen with the effects. Biggest thing was the moral message though..trying to find yourself, discover who you really are even when you have other people telling you otherwise, finding courage. Oprah, Reese, Mindy did great jobs as these ethereal beings helping them out. If you are seeking out a message about being who you are meant to be and being courageous, you'll love this movie.
I liked it. Despite all the bad reviews. Creative and different.
A big budget disappointment.
Much promised; nothing delivered.
Poorly acted with a plot that lacked continuity. A one star movie indeed.
Sad to see a treasure of a book reduced to this....
A movie that failed to live up its expectations.
Took my 10-year-old granddaughter she had not read the book but knew about it and we both thoroughly enjoyed the movie 😊
The color palette was beautiful but the movie was a complete letdown. A total waste of time. It made no sense at all.
After reading the book, I looked forward to the movie. I think the beginning should have given more insight in how the dad ended up missing. I enjoyed it.
An absurdly contrived plot.
I went to see this movie with my 14 year old granddaughter. I was pleasantly surprised how good it was. It has so many great meanings behind it. Adult or younger, one of the best to see.
Loved this Wonderful Inspirational Movie. It speaks to the importance of Family, Trust and Imagination! Awesome Movie for All ages!

It's difficult to find anything redeeming in this movie after reading the book.
The book is way better then this movie . The kids 10 and 11 didn't understand much of the movie nor did they really care to understand things.
Failed to construct a coherent story.
Great Disney movie
If there were more shows like this, there would be less shows like this until we wouldn't have to put up with trash like this anymore.
I wish films like this had been around when I was growing up! I'm coming out the other side of a decade of severe chronic pain, crippling depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation, and watching this film was such an incredibly healing and reassuring experience. I'll be buying AWIT on bluray the day it releases. Do yourself a favour - ignore the poor ratings, and go see this movie.
Many books are far too involved to be done on the big screen and this is a good example of that. Like Dune, unless you read the series you'll be lost.
Great fantasy movie adaptation about being a warrior in the dimension of time with faith, hope, and love.
Boring and not interesting at all.
A wrinkle in time is non-nonsensical, boring, has stale characters and is ultimately an assault on the senses. Its so poorly paced that even a six year old could have told a better story.
This film is utterly mindless and incoherent virtue signaling drivel.
Very difficult to understand and not memorable like the lady in the van
This is a GREAT movie. The artistry, graphics, visual effects are wonderful! IGNORE THE RATINGS! Go see it!
Horrible.....walked out!!
